Crystal Sumner
Executive Assistant
Crystal leverages her expertise in executive support, operations, and project management to drive efficiency and success for TTCF. Before joining the team in 2024, she honed her skills in process optimization while providing exceptional service to both individuals and teams. Outside of work, Crystal and her husband call Truckee home, where they enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, and snowshoeing.

Erika Veidis
Forest Futures Program Director
Erika has 8+ years of experience in developing interdisciplinary approaches to climate and environmental solutions. Before joining TTCF, Erika worked at the intersections of environment and health at Stanford University (CK) and the Planetary Health Alliance, where she built stakeholder coalitions, facilitated research collaborations, managed strategic communications initiatives, and taught sustainability and environmental humanities. She studied political science at Harvard and environmental economics while completing her MBA at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Erika moved to Tahoe from the East Coast and spends her free time skiing and trail running with her dogs.

Grant Nicely
Grants & Fund Manager
Grant, a Truckee local, holds a BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno. With experience in fund accounting and financial reporting, Grant is dedicated to supporting environmental and economic prosperity in the Truckee Tahoe region. Having also spent time on the Central Coast of California and the island of Oahu, he recognizes how special this area is.
Grant’s creative approach to problem-solving and collaboration aims to serve stakeholders and local initiatives with care, ensuring sustainable growth and resilience. Outside of work, he enjoys trail running, skiing, and embracing all that Truckee has to offer.
