Collective Philanthropy

An invitation for those with Donor Advised Funds who want to be closer to community.

We face unprecedented times, and the impacts on our communities are far beyond our control. At TTCF, we see the direct impacts on the ground. Our local businesses are striving to predict business impacts amidst a global trade war; our high-school scholarship applicants are struggling to plan their future while university systems and funding are under threat; our forest workforce is trying to prioritize forest management projects and safe campgrounds with reductions in staffing; and our safety net organizations are responding to food security programming with federal funding freezes.

Charitable dollars are intended to help communities, not make big banks bigger. Have you considered moving your donor advised fund to TTCF and wondered if it would make a difference? If the answer is yes, here is how.

A donor advised fund at TTCF:

We know that many of you have passions and interests beyond this region. By holding your fund in Tahoe-Truckee, you won’t be limited to this region alone. We see the intersection of places and people who care. Consider this an invitation to think differently about your current donor advised fund and free it up to benefit the place and the people that you love significantly. Contact Ashley Beck, Director of Engagement, to start the conversation today.
